We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when taking our online Stress Audit scorecard or subscribing to our newsletters. This information includes:

  • Demographic Details: Your first name and contact details (email address and optional WhatsApp number).
  • Clinical Indicators: Responses to stress, fatigue, and boundary management questions in the scorecard widget.
  • Subscription Status: Timestamps of consent when signing up to our mailing list.

2. Purpose of Processing

Your information is processed strictly for the following purposes:

  • Calculating your individualized stress percentage score and assigning a wellness category (Steady, Hustle, Danger).
  • Delivering the welcome nurture sequence detailing clinical recommendations based on your category.
  • Routing priority scheduling requests for our R299 3-session stress reset trial to our registered counselors.
  • Sending periodic wellness newsletters, tips, and insights (subject to your explicit consent).

3. Secure Storage and Data Retention

All submitted personal data is encrypted in transit and stored in Google Firebase Firestore databases using secure authorization protocols. Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel who coordinate clinical services. We retain personal details only as long as necessary to fulfill clinical scheduling and mailing service functions, or until you request removal.

4. Your Rights under POPIA

Under South African POPIA regulations, you hold the following rights:

  • Right to Access: You can query whether we hold any personal records relating to you.
  • Right to Correct: You can request updates to inaccurate or outdated contact information.
  • Right to Deletion: You can request that your records, questionnaire answers, and email subscriptions be permanently deleted from our database.
  • Right to Object: You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting support.

5. Third-Party Sharing

Mental Insure does not sell, lease, or distribute your personal details to commercial third parties. Your scorecard responses are kept strictly confidential and are only accessed by our registered counseling team to provide reset support.
